“The story behind “Rise & Respond”
The idea of Rise & Respond came about one afternoon as
we were brainstorming ways to give back to our community.
We wanted to create an opportunity to bond and communicate
with one another, and what better way to do that than over a cup of coffee?
Being a local business in Danville, IL, we wanted to support another local
business. That is when Madgoat Coffee came into play.
We met with the owner of Madgoat, pitched him our idea,
next thing you know, we are taste testing blends.
Next comes the name. You might be thinking what does “Rise
& Respond” mean?
The name Rise & Respond was a no brainer for us. Not
only does it apply to our Law Enforcement, and First Responders, but every
Teacher, every Doctor, every Nurse, every Mom, every Dad, every Student. Every
single Profession, it applies too.
I’m sure you’re thinking okay, I get it, now how is this
giving back to the community?
Let us tell you, with every bag of coffee bought- 100% of
the proceeds will go to a local charity or foundation or cause.
